Before use you must adjust the float height to achieve water shut off and your desired water depth.
To adjust the float height, loosen the float mounting screw and nut then rotate the float arm down to achieve water shut off and the desired water level. Make sure you retighten the mounting screw and nut securely.
CAUTION: Rotating the float arm too far up or failing to secure the float mounting screw and nut may cause the waterer to run continuously and overflow.
