This is the colorful Itajime shibori project.
In this video, I share a simple tip for keeping the colors vibrant.
When using fiber-reactive dyes, the final rinsing and drying steps are very important.
After rinsing, remove as much unfixed dye as possible before drying.
You can roll the fabric in a towel to absorb excess water, or use a spin cycle.
This small step helps prevent bleeding and keeps the patterns crisp and bright.

反応染料で染めた布は、最後のすすぎと乾燥の工程がとても大切です。
すすいだあと、乾かす前に未反応の染料をできるだけ取り除きます。
タオルで巻いて水分を吸わせるか、脱水機を使ってしっかり水分を抜くのがおすすめです。
このひと手間で、色のにじみを防ぎ、模様をきれいに保つことができます。
