Описание: For this weeks sewing project I am making an Haute Couture dress for no other reason than because I can, and I want to challenge myself! We've recently seen loads of beautiful dresses and haute couture looks on red carpets and fashion weeks and I felt inspired to create a dress of my own that (I would like to think) can compete with them!

We'll talk a little bit about my inspiration, the approach to the sewing pattern, the fabrics used, and the process of making the corset for the dress.

This is part one of a two-part series, with the next installation coming next Sunday.
