A routine flight from Kochi to Abu Dhabi turned into a life-or-death emergency, but heroes were on board.
This is the incredible true story of Abhijith Jees and Ajeesh Nelson, two Malayali nurses from Kerala. On October 13, 2025, they were on their VERY FIRST international flight (Air Arabia 3L128) to start new jobs in the UAE with Response Plus Medical (RPM).
Just 20 minutes after takeoff, a 34-year-old passenger suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. With no pulse detected, the two nurses sprang into action. They performed two rounds of life-saving CPR, reviving the passenger and stabilizing him with the help of an onboard doctor until the flight landed safely in Abu Dhabi.
