BBB Scam Tracker reports over the past two years show romance scams were costly and at times life altering. Consumers reported over $49 Million in losses to romance scams during that time. One of those consumers reported getting cheated out of $350,000 after getting a random text that led to a fake romance. Whether it's Valentine's Day or not, scammers will try to take advantage of our vulnerabilities.
