Our clay amphoras are designed to improve the taste and aroma of tap water . They are very easy to care for but like anything they work better when they are clean.
In this video we show you the best ways to clean a clay amphora using natural products, organic soapnuts, citric acid, a scrubby and the sun.
One of the amphoras had been neglected so we show a neat way to clean mildew - using neat soapnut liquid / citric acid mixture and to go further still using some clean sand coupled with a scrubby.
