This is part three in a series of tutorials showing how to create a full Couture French Jacket, from start to finish at home. It includes all the steps plus tips and tricks that I teach In- person at our classes in the studio and much more.
This video shows how to cut your patterned boucle fabric using our seamless muslin that we prepared in a previous video.
I created a muslin/toile using the studio seam free pattern option - included in our digital downloadable patterns.
For this video, I am using the Joan and the Amelia French Jacket.
Our Papermaple Workshop Community, which launched on February 23th includes a monthly live French Jacket clinic, where I answer any questions and help with muslin fittings, as you sew your Joan and Amelia jackets.
