In recent range sessions Cassie and Coach Dad have bee trying to get Cassie to get 'round the corner' with her follow through as a common problem is getting stuck and the swing not continuing the correct swing path on the follow through.
The 'Chicken Wing' left elbow is a common condition seen in amateur and beginner golfers as theit head says to the body the need to get the clubface square on the ball and hte only way to do that given their swing, is for the left elbow to chicken wing out - causing a cut across the ball with the club face and delivering weak cutty contact which kills control and distance.
Cassie does not have this problem directly but the left elbow is not very well connected in the follow through so we work on how to get this more connected and it will simultaneously solve the chicken wing players!
