In today's episode we explore the incredible Higashiyama Ward in Kyoto, a traditional historic quarter with narrow lanes and lots of secret passageways to find. It was the most busy place on our Japan trip so far with crowds packing the walkways along Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka. We took our kids to see the stunning and impressive Kiyomizu-Dera Temple and then spent the afternoon finding foods both tasty and quite... interesting... at Nishiki Market.
