Blur - Modern Life Is Rubbish Live Album Film HD

Описание: A concert film that contains almost all songs from the band's second album "Modern Life Is Rubbish" in order of album's tracklist.

For Tomorrow, Advert, Colin Zeal, Chemical World, Intermission, Sunday Sunday, Oily Water, Coping and Commercial Break was performed at the Rocklife at Cologne 1993 and broadcasted on TV. I decided to take this gig as a basis, because it's almost the only complete video TV recording of the 1993 concert in high quality, moreover, this concert perfectly describes the era of this album.

Thankfully, recently surfaced TV recording of Pressure On Julian around that time at the Rock Summer Festival in Tallinn.

They started performing with Blue Jeans in 1999, but I decided to choose a performance from Meltdown Festival 2000, besides, this particular song was restored by one of the fans.

Graham Coxon performed with Miss America on the acoustic US tour in 2018, so I decided to take a recording from one of these concerts.

Villa Rosie was taken from one of the band's recent concerts, at Primavera Sound Barcelona 2023. It was very unexpected for me to hear Villa Rosie in the last Blur tours, because the band has never performed this song.

With the recording for Turn It Up I had to go back a bit and take the version from the Kilburn gig that I used for the Leisure Live Album. This version of the song is incomplete and will continue to evolve, but unfortunately they did not perform this song after 1992 and there are no other videos.

As an extra, I decided to include the full performance of Chemical World (because as many might have noticed on the Rocklife gig, they did not play completely due to problems with the guitar), namely, I took a performance at Butt Naked on Channel 4.

Accordingly, Star Shaped and Resigned are not here, because they didn't play Star Shaped on video, and Resigned never played live at all.

The film also contains exclusive excerpts of interviews with a band.
