MTV’s Video Music Awards have finally set a date.

The MTV VMA’s will take place on Monday, August 20th live from Radio City Music Hall.

Radio City Music Hall was the setting of the very first VMA show in 1984 and has been the location 10 times since then.

The last time the awards show was there was in 2009 when Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech.
