Описание: Clarence “Smoky” Harris was an American blues guitarist and singer who performed from the 1950s through the 1980s, remembered as one of the defining figures of the Chicago blues tradition. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Harris first made his name in the city’s bustling club scene, where his gravelly, smoke-tinged voice and sharp, fiery guitar licks quickly drew attention.

During the 1970s, as blues evolved alongside rock and soul, Harris stayed true to his roots while incorporating modern touches that appealed to younger audiences. Critics noted that his guitar style “drifted like smoke before bursting into flame,” a description that became inseparable from his stage persona.

Though he stepped back from the spotlight in the 1980s, Clarence “Smoky” Harris left behind a handful of studio albums and live recordings that continue to be cherished by blues enthusiasts.

This is an alternate take on "Gone Blues."
"Gone Blues" by Clarence Smoky Harris is a band-style blues song that follows the Chicago blues tradition.

It features a powerful vocal reminiscent of Howlin' Wolf and B.B. King, thought-provoking lyrics essential to a great blues song, and a band sound that evokes the influence of Muddy Waters.
