Extended highlights from our ninth game of the MJPL 2025/26 Season.
Stone would come away from Shawbury with all three points thanks to a last minute winner from Noah Hughes!
A scrappy game by large, but Stone would go ahead when a high cleared ball from the Shawbury keeper was brought down by Louis, it fell to Ryan Namuto whose curled effort just clipped the post on its way into the net.
Shawbury would level with a neat header not too long after. They thought they had gone ahead when the striker raced through and finished but he had gone too early and the goal was ruled out for offside.
The winning goal would come in the final minute of the game. Good work from louis, played henry lewis wide, his low driven cross found Noah Hughes in the 6 yard box and he converted to give Stone the victory.
