Allow me to partially dox myself for a moment. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The hometown of the legendary pop artist, Prince. 2024 marks the 40th Anniversary of the release of one of his most famous albums "Purple Rain", as well as the movie of the same name.
And so to commemorate this special occasion, I've decided to finally leave my cave, go out into the world, and revisit some of the iconic filming locations from the movie. Not only photographing them in the way they appeared on screen, but also even recreating some of the shots to the best of my ability. Enjoy!
