These are just some of the ICE arrests over the month of July at 26 Federal Plaza immigration court, where people arrive for their scheduled asylum hearings. Their names are already on a 'target' list by ICE and Border Patrol agents. Masked and armed, they wait in the hallway outside the courts. Most are granted continuances by federal judges but are arrested anyway by masked and armed agents. They say "you are illegally in this country" and will be detained till your court date. Instead they are sent to for profit prisons around the country and then deported.
