Delays and Cancellations on the Sub Zero Avanti Settle Carlisle Shuttles 5 Jan 26

Описание: I wasn't to know how many cancellations and delays there would be on the Avanti Settle Carlisle Shuttles on 5 January. The first day the shuttles could run into Preston. I went to Garsdale and Ribblehead. It was so bitterly cold I had to make a side trip into Settle to get a hot drink inside me!
OK I missed some trains - largely due to the delays and the urgent need to warm up! My mind wasn't at its sharpest today! However my results are pretty good!
The waiting rooms at Garsdale and Ribblehead helped stem the chill whilst waiting between trains - minus 6 degrees Celcius at least plus wind chill! The heaters would be fine for a normal chilly day but not when its Arctic outside!
