Two boards may look the same, yet perform very differently with heat and current.
The difference often comes down to copper weight — the base copper thickness on each layer.
Copper weight controls trace current capacity, heat flow, and mechanical robustness. Too thin, and you risk overheating or voltage drop. Too thick, and you increase cost and processing complexity.
Copper selection is an electrical and thermal decision — not just a default setting.
