Student Loan payments can suck up a huge amount of your monthly budget in post-grad life. But if you’re struggling to pay your student loans every month, you might not have to. In fact, you may be eligible to pay less than half of what you’re paying now AND have a portion of your student loans forgiven in the end. That means some of your student loan could just go away. Sounds pretty great, right?
Enter the Revised Pay-As-You-Earn Repayment Plan, or REPAYE Plan. This is an IDR plan that can help you make your payments more affordable. It even has the potential for some student loan forgiveness. The thing is, not a lot of people know about the Revised Pay As You Earn Repayment Plan. That’s why I made this video: REPAYE Plan | Lower your student loan payments with the Revised Pay-As-You-Earn Repayment Plan! _____________________________________

You might also wonder, “What happens if you never pay your student loans?”, or, “Do student loans ever go away?” Some people even think that your student loan is written off after 10 years automatically. Unfortunately, student loans never go away. Even in bankruptcy, your student loans won’t be canceled. Unpaid or late payments on your student loans will be on your credit report until the loan is paid off.
There’s been a lot of talk lately about student loan forgiveness. While it would be nice if student loans just disappeared, we can’t be sure how political policy will effect student loan forgiveness. That’s why the REPAYE Plan might be a good solution.
Hopefully, this video will help you decide if the REPAYE Plan is the right solution for you.
Fun fact: The REPAYE Plan is part of a group of student loan repayment plans called Income Driven Repayment Plans, or IDR Plans. These plans exist to help make your student loan payments more affordable. The different kinds of IDR Plans available include the PAYE Plan, REPAYE Plan, IBR Plan, and ICR Plan. These are also known as the Pay As You Earn Repayment Plan (PAYE Plan), Revised Pay As You Earn Repayment Plan (REPAYE Plan), Income-Based Repayment Plan (IBR Plan), and the Income-Contingent Repayment Plan (ICR Plan).
