Описание: Throughout history, Moonstone has been cherished by various ancient cultures, revered as a gem of intuition, emotional balance, and calm. Often associated with the moon’s cycles, it is believed to promote restful sleep, peaceful dreams, and inner harmony.

So my curiosity as to how I could create it, led me to combine two previous strategies used in my videos. The first was to use actual moonstones and record audio from that, and secondly to us the AI oracle for some guidance on how to create the perfect Moonstone Noise.

Here's was the blueprint the oracle suggested:

A gentle, airy chime, like wind brushing across delicate crystal, carrying the quiet glow of something smooth, pale, and full of hidden light.

A deep, flowing undercurrent, similar to a distant tide rolling in and out, steady and luminous, as if pulled by an unseen lunar force.

A high, creamy rush, like moonlight dissolving into the hush of the night, soft and opalescent, shifting between silence and sound.

I was fortunate to source a few Moonstone gems and began by recording their gentle tapping and brushing sounds. I elongated these recordings, softening the higher frequencies to create a smoother, lower-toned resonance. To add depth, I blended in underwater sounds- captured using my hydrophone mics while running a bath- layering their fluid textures beneath the gem tones. For an added sense of warmth and glow, I wove in elongated fabric scratches and crystal-like chimes from my MIDI keyboard, evoking the smooth moon vibes!

To complete the composition - and to harness the healing properties long associated with moonstone gems - I layered in a subtle yet effective 172Hz Solfeggio tone. This frequency is known for promoting cellular regeneration, easing pain, and alleviating anxiety, adding a therapeutic dimension to the soundscape.

And there you have it! Moonstone Noise!
