Jorpokhri: It is situated on hilltop near Lepchajagat and 19 km from Darjeeling city toward Mirik and Simana. 2 km from Sukhiapokhri bazaar and 85 km from Siliguri, altitude of Jorpokhri is 7400 ft. which are covered with thick Junipur and pine trees. There are two lake, Jor mean 'two' and Pokhri means 'Lake or pond'. On the lake you can see the white swans . There are best time to visit on October to March, from the lake you can see the panoramic view of Sleeping Buddha and other landscape.
