Join me for a rockhounding adventure at San Simeon's William Randolph Hearst Memorial Vista Point, just a stone's throw (ok, maybe a tad further!) from Hearst Castle. This beach is a rockhounding dream for its stunning agatized jasper, jaspers in a rainbow of colors, agates, chalcedony, chert, brecciated jasper and much more. It's a gorgeous location with plenty of beach to explore and vibrant, colorful rocks to discover. Keep an eye out for rare white agates with beautiful banding patterns. It's a perfect day out for rock enthusiasts seeking nature's geological marvels along the breathtaking Pacific coast!
