How to darn/mend a hole in a sock & how to mend the crutch of a pair of tights. Not really the sexist video, but it is a useful skill for your wardrobe tool box!
You will need:
Darning needle: http://amzn.to/2c64sIy – usually has a bigger eye and is blunt or has a rounded end.
Darning ball: http://amzn.to/2czK8jw - these make light work of such tasks. This is inserted into the sock under the hole to make threading and mending easier.
Sewing Scissors: http://amzn.to/1ObmipT
A matching wool or thread for the socks/tights.
Turn work inside out. Refer to video for demonstration methods.
