In preparation for the upcoming school year, volunteers from Lowe’s Home Improvement, the El Paso County Tax Assessor’s Office, and UTEP Football Wives distributed 450 free backpacks and school supplies to every student at Cedar Grove Elementary School. The effort is to encourage students to succeed in the classroom while offering assistance to families who might otherwise not be able to afford school supplies.
