Today, Monday, November 10, we bring you the latest morning updates from Myanmar.

In Nyaunglaypin Township, Bago Region — Min Min Oo, the Pyusawhti leader, local administrator, and USDP hardliner, was shot dead.
This marks the second assassination attempt on him after surviving a previous attack earlier this year.
According to the 9 Stars Underground Force (UG) in Bago Region, he was targeted for his involvement in junta-linked arrests and extortion against local civilians.

Meanwhile, in Taungtha Township, junta troops occupying the house of a local headman came under heavy attack from resistance forces, leaving at least five junta soldiers dead and eight injured.
After the clash, junta troops reportedly arrested 11 civilian youths from nearby villages.

Along the Thai–Myanmar border, the junta’s commission announced the demolition of 101 out of 148 buildings within the controversial KK Park project in Myawaddy, with 47 more set for destruction soon.

Internationally, the French government criticized the junta’s planned elections as illegitimate,
a landmine explosion in Kachin State’s Hpakant killed one woman,
and in Malaysia, a boat carrying Myanmar migrants capsized, leaving dozens missing.
