Описание: Dmitri Shostakovitch was born in Czarist Russia and grew up to become the most renowned composers in the Soviet Union. He composed Piano Concerto No. 2 in F major, Op. 102 for his 19 year old son, Maxim, who premiered it upon his graduation from the Moscow Conservatory. This joyful piece may be expressive of the pride a father has for his son. It is among the most popular work of Shostakovich. At the time Maxim was two years older than Evan Losoya who performs it here at our Premier Performers Black Tie event in June 2016.
