Описание: Caminia is a seaside resort located in the municipality of Stalettì (CZ), along the highway 106 Jonica, near Soverato. The long beach is located between two cliffs. The right cliff, that of Torrazzo, is a rocky wall full of cavities. Swallows, seabirds and the peregrine falcon find shelter here. The vegetation is mainly composed of grasses, prickly pears, carnations of the cliffs, lentisks, olive trees and euphorbia. On the sea level, on the other hand, there are two entrances to the cave of San Gregorio, where according to tradition the relics of San Gregorio Taumaturgo would have arrived. The left cliff is occupied by houses and houses that slope towards the sea and that continue towards the side of Pietragrande. Between the railway and the old state road there are the remains of the Byzantine church of Panaja (from the greek all saint), dedicated to the Madonna, it remains only part of an apse and part of a wall with traces of plaster, dating the latter perhaps in the early Middle Ages.
