Steve was so kind to invite me back to the DjLab again to be the very first person to test out his third CDJ3000x.
This was my second time ever on CDJs and this has definitely been my favourite set to this day. Steve showed me more tips and tricks of the CDJs to put my musical vision to live.
I decided to do something a little different and blend some speed garage, breakbeat, and deep tech with that funky sound of mine.
Some hiccups occured during the set, but I am glad they happened infront of Steve rather than a live audience (haha).
I still have a long way to go, especially with my beat matching and mastering of effects and timing. Despite this, I am happy with the creativity of my blends and transitions and I look forward to bring those two skills together.
Overall, I'm happy with my improvements and I hope to continue improving on my CDJ skills, artist identity, and overall being more comfortable infornt of a camera. Enjoy.
