Описание: Youth engagement is incredibly important in politics. One of the clearest examples of that is the ratification of the 26th Amendment in 1971, which lowered the minimum voting age from 21 to 18 years old. The youth movement was so impactful then that the 26th Amendment went from passage by Congress to ratification in the shortest time ever for a US Constitutional amendment.
