Back out on the Bristol Channel for another session and it definitely kept us on our toes!
We managed to hook into a conger eel, but lost it right at the side of the boat (heartbreaker 😅). Still, it wasn’t all bad — we ended the trip with a total of 4 thornback rays on board, so plenty of action to keep things interesting.
As the day went on the wind started to pick up and the swell began building, and in the end the safe call was to head back in. Sometimes that’s just how it goes — fish will always be there for the next trip.
