DIY Easter Throw Pillows

Well, these pillows are perfect for you to make; they are super easy, and they're perfect for beginners. The best thing is you don't want them to be perfect; that's what gives them so much character. For extra detail, we used the sewing machine to embroider. Don't worry about trying to do straight lines; just have fun with it.
I did this fun project with my daughter. I did the carrots, and she free handed the precious chick with the whimsical border. She then used watered-down acrylic paint and hand painted it. Next up using the sewing machine. Only using the sewing machine a few times she was super nervous she was going to mess it up. I kept stressing to her that we don't want it to be perfect; just have fun with it. And she did! We couldn't be happier with the end result. And it was also a great way to get familiar and learn the sewing machine.
We are so excited about these pillows that we are already brainstorming our next pillow ideas.
