In today's video, we head back to The Villages, Florida to go to the newer Hooters Original restaurant that opened up just last year. Last year we did a full review of it and had a good time but one thing we noticed was that they stopped providing feee flavored tea refills and now charges for them. The funny thing is that the CEO saw the video and told us he will change it to allow for free refills on flavored teas. We like their blackberry tea a lot and so we wanted to go back to do an update on the restaurant as well as see if there are the free refills. Luckily, when we got there, there wasn’t a wait and we got right in. It was busy though. We sat on the bar side. We show you the full menu again and also try a few things. We show the clam chowder, which unfortunately wasn’t the best we have had, the Hooters salad, the tenders and fries, the baked wings Daytona style with fries and jalapeño cheese sauce, and then the nearly famous hooters original wings with honey bbq and a caesar salad. Overall, the food is still good and being consistent at this location. For dessert, we show you the chocolate mousse cake and it was very rich! Would definitely say share that. Overall, it was a good experience. Staff is nice. And guess what??? Free refills on flavored teas! Thanks Neil for coming through on that! If you happen to watch this one, if there is a way to bring back the taco salad, that would be fantastic! We hope everyone enjoyed our trip out to The Villages for another restaurant review at Hooters Original!
