Putin’s Ukraine strategy being based on Alaska talks

Описание: Russia says its next moves on Ukraine will follow key principles set at the Alaska summit he held with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Putin was speaking at a meeting of the Council of Heads of CIS member states on Friday in Tajikistan where he extended an invitation to all CIS leaders for an informal New Year’s meeting in St. Petersburg.

Putin said: “We will have an opportunity to meet again in a very small circle, and I would like to inform you in more detail about these results, which we generally assess positively. Our subsequent work on resolving the problem in Ukraine will be based on fundamental principles discussed at the Alaska summit.”
