In this screencast tutorial I cover one of my favorite Mac automation applications, Hazel by Noodlesoft Software. Hazel is a system preference application that allows you to automate a lot of things on your Mac. It is essential to my own personal automation system with scanning and filing documents and is one of those applications that makes owning a Mac an advantage.
In this screencast I do a walk through of the application including each of the features including the info, trash, and folders tabs. I also walk through setting up some basic automation that files documents for you in a watch folder.
In Part 2 I will cover how I use it in my own personal system and walk through the steps of how I use Hazel to give you ideas for your own personal automation system.
