TITAN Trail Trekker Fuel Tank Installation - Jeep Wrangler JLU - Overlanding The USA

Описание: UPDATE: I have since removed the tank from my Jeep and replaced the entire rear-bumper and extra gas tank with the AEV rear bumper which includes an extra gas tank. The reason I did that was two fold: 1- the Roam slim bumper was a bad design which made the opening and closing the tailgate a struggle and without any place to grease the swing mechanism, the matter was getting worst as time passed and 2- the Titan Tank is not designed to hug the tailgate so as not to extend the weight too far back from the tailgate and so consequently, the entire read tire holder was shaking as I would go over a bump. Neither of those two systems are sustainable in the long run and so I bit the bullet and spent a whole lof of money to just make things right--the way I should have done from getgo.

In fairness and FWIW-the Titan system worked without any issues on my Trip from Chicago to the Arctic Ocean in Canada and then all over Alaska, then to Los Angeles and then back to Chicago--a huge trip in 2023. So, It did perform well but as time went on, I think it put additional stress on the tire holder making it come lose and start to shake...

In preparation of my coming travels to Alaska this summer, I opted for the Titan Fuel Tanks (TITAN Trail Trekker II) as a solution to carry extra fuel on my Jeep Wrangler JLU. Everywhere I inquired, folks told me that I should have at least a ten (10) gallons of extra fuel capacity. Looking at my options, Titan Fuel Tank came to be the best solution for me.

In this video I go through the installation of the Titan Fuel Tanks (TITAN Trail Trekker II) on my Jeep Wrangler JLU. There are some hiccups along way but nothing major.
