Описание: Living in Itbayat Island | The Philippines’ Most ISOLATED Island Nobody Talks About | 4K

Located just 90km from Taiwan, Itbayat is the most remote and isolated island in the Philippines. It is a natural fortress surrounded by towering limestone cliffs tens of meters high, completely devoid of serene beaches, and constantly battered by storms year-round. The journey to the island is so dangerous that you must gamble your life to jump from swaying wooden faluwa boats onto perilous cliffs.

However, past that treacherous natural wall lies an unbelievably peaceful society. In Itbayat, crime is completely non-existent. Residents leave their homes without ever locking their doors, buy goods at unmanned honesty stores, and voluntarily leave cash behind.

Why do the Ivatan people resolutely hold their ground in meter-thick stone houses amidst a place lacking opportunities and fraught with danger? Let's unpack the rustic, pristine life and the 4,000-year-old heritage on this strange island in today's documentary!
