4K Exploring Cornwall || 3 - St Ives Bay Line || Penzance to St Erth and St Ives

Описание: Several years (and a lockdown) in the making, I made my way down to Cornwall to take in some of the stunning routes and scenery of the area. Shot across a long weekend in the summer, the series is split into a number of parts.

Part 3 again covers two journeys: the Cornish Mainline from Penzance to St Erth, then the scenically dramatic St Ives Bay Line. Hugging the coastline, Cornwall's most popular branch line looks down on glorious sandy beaches, taking just under half an hour. Walking through St Ives, we see more of the coast to the north of the town, with views down on Tate St Ives gallery. Join me on a brief trip on a Class 800 IET along the mainline, then a Class 150/2 Sprinter along the Hayle Estuary and St Ives Bay.
