Thermal imaging drone footage captured the remarkable rescue of 10-year-old Peyton Saintignan, who went missing in the woods of Louisiana after sleepwalking.
Saintignan vanished on Saturday, September 14, and was discovered the following day, 1.5 miles from her home, curled up on the ground in her pyjamas.
A volunteer drone operator, who traveled 40 miles from Arkansas, used thermal imaging to help locate the missing girl, according to reports.
Webster Parish Sheriff Jason Parker confirmed Peyton was found at 11 PM on Sunday, thanks to the drone's heat-sensing capabilities.
