He has also been published in many newspapers, including two hometown newspapers - The Spokesman Review and The Inlander. Also winner of many editorial cartoonist awards including Four 1st Place Editorial Cartooning Regional SPJ/SDX awards and One 1st Place Editorial Cartooning National SPJ/SDX awards. He won these awards while attending Western Washington University and Eastern Washington University respectively.
