How To Make a Hopping Monster Out of Cardboard

It’s a mechanical toy with moving legs and a body. You can make lots of different faces for it. It's designed for maximum silliness and when you're done it should make you smile!

Time estimate:
About an hour to complete making it.
This includes drafting it and assembling it.
After it's made you can spend as much time as you want decorating it to make it uniquely yours :-)

Tools: scissors, triangle, pencil
Materials: Glue and cardboard.
The cardboard can be recycled from practically any carton, such as a cereal box or rice box. You can also get it from most print shops or order it online (get "250 GSM carton board" - that's what the paper industry calls it).
