Crown theatre honours artist Namboodiri | Mathrubhumi News

Описание: Kozhikode: Crown Theatre, which started out as a drama house in 1935 before assuming its now familiar avatar as the iconic cinema theatre of Malabar, has down the decades become an inalienable part of the artistic legacy of this historic port-city. In keeping with its rich heritage, the 2nd -generation management team has through ‘Prathibha’ decided to honour those who have contibuted to the cultural fabric of this city of values. In a function held in the premises, senior citizen and Parsi patriarch Darius P Marshall presented a memento to artist and former ‘Mathrubhumi weekly’ illustrator K M Vasudevan Namboodiri, who was chosen for the honour. Managing partner Vinod A R and Aparna Vinod spoke.
