Out of Hell - Unreal Tournament 2004 survival horror (single player)

Описание: Out of Hell es un mod de terror para un jugador realizado con Unreal Tournament 2004. Ya se puede ver en el gameplay que lo único que tiene de UT2004 es el motor gráfico, todo lo demás es completamente diferente, estaríamos hablando más bien de un juego en toda regla si no fuese porque necesita el juego de Epic para funcionar.

Su ambientación y nivel de detalle me parece soberbio, un gran trabajo por parte de su creador. Jugablemente no es nada del otro mundo, pero los enfrentamientos con los zombis son tensos.

Este mod ya tiene bastante tiempo, se lanzó en 2009, por entonces lo probé, pero iba tremendamente mal en el PC que tenía. Mi PC de ahora es bastante mejor que aquel (aunque ya desfasado para los estándares actuales). Pero para mi sorpresa, el rendimiento sigue siendo penoso. Se puede jugar, pero yo creo que claramente este mod sobrepasa los límites del motor de UT2004, quizás su autor fue demasiado ambicioso en ese aspecto.

Por otro lado, juego justo hasta un punto que al realizar una carga me da un error y me echa al escritorio. Al volver a iniciar el juego, resulta que tengo que jugar de nuevo toda la parte de la comisaría, pues solo guarda al principio de cada mapa. En definitiva, es un mod que tiene sus problemas, pero es un buen intento por parte de su creador.

Por cierto, no sé por qué, el juego tiene una barra negra enorme en la parte superior.

Out of Hell is a single player horror mod made with Unreal Tournament 2004. You can already see in the gameplay that the only thing from UT2004 is the graphics engine, everything else is completely different, we would be talking about a full-fledged game if it were not because it needs Epic's game to work.

Its atmosphere and level of detail are superb, a great job by its creator. The gameplay is nothing special, but the confrontations with the zombies are tense.

This mod has been around for quite some time, it was released in 2009, I tried it back then, but it ran tremendously bad on the PC I had. My PC now is much better than that one (although already outdated by today's standards). But to my surprise, performance is still very bad. It's playable, but I think this mod clearly exceeds the limits of the UT2004 engine, perhaps the creator was too ambitious in that aspect.

On the other hand, I play right up to a point that when the game loads a new map, it gives an error and sends me to the desktop. When I restart the game, it turns out that I have to play the whole part of the police station again, because it only saves at the beginning of each map. In short, it's a mod that has its problems, but it's a good attempt by its creator.

By the way, I don't know why, the game has a huge black bar at the top.
