EXCLUSIVE: 'Anti-Patriot Campaign' Removing Flags Put Up During 'Operation Raise The Colours'

Описание: ANTI-PATRIOTIC Brits have launched a coordinated campaign to rip down Union Jacks put up over the summer.

The flag-hating group, operating on social media, has created a live map pinpointing the exact locations of the flags in a bid to remove them one by one.

The Reddit group share street names and locations of Union Jacks and St George’s flags tied to lampposts and telegraph poles across Stockport, allowing them to be geographically logged and targeted.

This week, one apparent ringleader of ‘Operation Lower the Colours’ asked fellow users to submit details of any remaining flags, insisting they should be “removed in a peaceful manner”.

One joked it had been “windy around Portwood last night”, while another blamed a “freak of nature storm” for the sudden disappearance of several flags.

The sneering group openly congratulated each other for tearing the flags down and complained they were “sad” to see so many still flying.

One post also mocked how it’s “funny how it’s mostly poor areas where people are on benefits”.

In October 2025, Stockport council leader Mark Roberts said flags in public spaces can remain “as long as they do not pose a safety risk or have slogans written on them”. The policy remains in place.
