This is Susan Shirley performing “Someone Special”, the flip-side of True Love and Apple Pie”. Composed by Brett Wilson, Joe Bedford (aka Alan Keen) and produced by Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway, with musical arrangements from Lew Warburton. Song released on 45 via Columbia Records way back in 1971. In total Susan has recorded at least half a dozen songs associated with Cook and Greenaway. This song “Someone Special” is very similar to the song “Somewhere Somehow”. Possibly as both were composed by Alan Keen.
