Tunbridge Wells Borough Council has now pulled in £ 1.5 million in revenue from fines imposed on mostly confused drivers who have found themselves in a restricted "bus lane" area in the town centre.
Local resident Sally Atkinson points out this scheme also means locals have to drive a mile long loop when they search for a parking space. She says councillors from all political parties have done nothing to help after 15 months of pressure.
