This upbringing shaped his path, leading him to become a Registered Nurse and, later, to own and run his own family-operated aged care home.

Fabio details their growth plans to expand from 15 homes to a target of 5,000 beds nationally. He also explains their in-house model for construction, which includes their own architects and engineers, allowing them to manage the design and build process for their new homes efficiently.

Looking to the future, Fabio discusses the technology they are implementing, from falls radar to a 'Care Direct' system designed to reduce documentation time for staff. He also provides his perspective on industry challenges, including his views on care minutes and a proposal for a new, specialized "Aged Care Registered Nurse" role to help address workforce shortages.
