In today's Word of God, God shows all humanity how great His power and might are.
Only God the Father can raise the dead, and no one else can do what He does.
God wants all humanity to know that anyone who has absolute faith in the Most High God will receive grace and healing.
Whatever they ask for, He will bestow grace and blessings upon them according to their faith in God.
Through this, He wants humanity to see the power of faith; when people place their faith in God, they will be healed both in body and soul, as the Word of God in today's Gospel shows: a woman who had suffered from a hemorrhage for 12 years, upon hearing the holy name of Jesus, sought to touch His cloak, hoping and asking Him to heal the illness she had suffered for so long, an illness that no medicine could cure. She only trusted in God alone.
Because of this faith, she overcame all fear and obstacles to touch Jesus; it was because of her faith that she was touched by God and received healing.
The special message in today's Gospel is that God wants to tell all humanity that only God can raise the dead; no one else can do this, because God is the God of life; He has power over everything concerning humanity, for He is the Creator of humanity.
No one has power over life and death except the Most High God alone. Therefore, it is God's power to decide who lives and who dies.
Those who trust in Him and call upon His holy name will receive His grace.
In today's Gospel, God the Father wishes to emphasize eternal life. God calls upon humanity to live in a way that allows Him to heal both their souls and bodies, so that they may receive eternal life.
The main purpose that humanity needs to achieve and strive for is happiness in the Kingdom of Heaven, as shown in today's Gospel where Jesus raised a child from the dead.
God also wants to emphasize to humanity that He came into the world not for people to live forever on this earth, but to save their souls, so that after God the Father calls everyone from this world, He will save their souls so that they may have eternal life.
This is the power of God, the one who controls life, who controls both the soul and body of all humanity.
