What Is Fargone?

Enter the Barrens

A nuclear disaster shattered the land, turning the dead into roaming infected husks and twisting survivors into man-made mutants. Toxic storms, abandoned settlements, and creatures that should never exist now define the wastes. How you endure what’s left is up to you.

Alliances & Enemies

Survivors have formed roaming factions with their own camps, vendors, and mission networks. Your reputation matters—earn trust, exploit rivalries, or become the threat they warn each other about. Build enough standing (or pay the right price) and you may even recruit companions to travel beside you.

Beyond Human Threats

The infection reshaped life itself: shambling undead, radiation-warped monsters, experimental mutants, and powerful boss creatures lurking deep in the wasteland. Some hunt mindlessly… others wait.

Dark Atmosphere

Green fog floods the Hazard Zone, radioactive storms strike without warning, and each region has its own oppressive weather. Nothing here is warm. Nothing here is safe.

Build to Survive

Create a refuge with modular base-building: outposts, fortified strongholds, power grids, fuel, generators, and defenses. Every wall you raise can save you—or paint a target on your back.

Scavenge, Craft, Endure

Search towns, factories, and bunkers for weapons, medicine, and materials. Craft what you lack and upgrade your survivor to push one day further.

Evolve Your Survivor

Improve skills through use and shape your playstyle via an expanding RPG progression system.

Harsh Survival

Injury and illness can cripple or kill. Broken bones slow you, infections spread, and storms demand proper protection. Every item has purpose—medicine, alcohol for radiation, antibiotics, cigarettes to push through the pain.

Long-Term Support

Fargone will continue to grow with new regions, factions, systems, and features throughout Early Access and beyond.

Multiplayer

Co-op is core to Fargone’s vision and will arrive after launch once major systems have settled. Target: 1–4 player co-op. Until then, deep faction AI and survival systems support a strong single-player experience.
