Two migrants who were at the forefront of a mob that attacked a group of French gendarmes and foiled their attempt to stop a small boat launch have been jailed.
Salih Talib Abdullah, 33, and Ahmed Omar Saleh Khater, 25, were sentenced to 13 months and 12 months respectively on Friday for attempting to arrive in the UK illegally.
