After being suspended from the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), senior leader Srimayee Mishra has taken to social media with a sharp reaction. She said that she never compromised on her self-respect and questioned the party’s decision to suspend her despite her absence from active politics for over a year.

In her statement, Mishra wrote: “I have never compromised with my self-respect and dignity. For the last one year, I have not been with the party, nor have I renewed my membership. Suspending me now will only make people laugh.”
