If a number of the officials in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were conversant with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, they would have understood the 90-day rule for the replacement of ambassadors, or appointment of a Chargé d'affaires. Unfortunately, nothing was done on our diplomatic fronts until Q3 of 2025. We have entered a 'one-chance' bus with the APC, and it is unfortunate that these ambassadors-designate are at the wrong end of the stick.
